The Dragon Bridge (Cầu Rồng) spans the Han River and is Da Nang's signature night-time landmark. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday at around 21:00 the dragon breathes fire and then sprays water — free to watch. The closest and most dramatic view, but you will get sprayed when the water starts — keep phones and cameras protected.
The riverbank by the Love Bridge
You get the dragon's head, the whole bridge and the reflection in the Han River, and you are already next to Son Tra Night Market.
The west bank
Best for a wide shot of the whole bridge; further away, but usually easier to avoid the crowds and the spray.

- For a shot of the whole bridge:Get to the Love Bridge or the east bank at blue hour and photograph the night scene before the show starts.
- To see the fire up close:Stand near the dragon's head — but stay out of the traffic lane and behind any barriers.
- To stay dry:Avoid standing directly in front of the dragon's head or downwind, and put your phone in a waterproof pouch.
- With children or older parents:The riverbank is more comfortable. When the crowd disperses, wait a few minutes before booking a ride.
How to get to the Dragon Bridge
- On foot:From Han Market, Da Nang Cathedral or the Museum of Cham Sculpture you can walk through the city and along the river as one evening route.
- Grab or taxi:Set your pin near the Love Bridge, Son Tra Night Market or the east side of the Dragon Bridge; when the show ends you may need to walk a little before a car can reach you.
