Travel Liability Insurance Coverage Required by the Tourism Administration, Ministry of Transportation and Communications, Republic of China (Taiwan)
Coverage item / Insured amount per traveler (NT$)
- Accidental death: NT$2.5 million
- Accidental disability: paid according to the schedule in the main policy (table of disability levels and benefits)
- Accidental medical expenses (maximum): NT$200,000
- Compensation for lost travel documents: up to NT$2,000 per traveler
- Aftermath handling expenses (costs for a traveler's family to travel to the accident site to handle the aftermath): up to NT$100,000 per traveler
※ If both the place of departure and the accident site are in the Republic of China (Taiwan), the maximum is NT$50,000. - Insured's handling expenses: up to NT$100,000 per accident

Actual coverage is as set out in the liability insurance contract between Party B (the travel agency) and the insurer.
